How does the weight loss program work?

Step 1. Online or In-person Consultation: We facilitate connections between patients and healthcare professionals through virtual consultations, where weight loss goals, medical history, and other relevant factors are discussed.

Step 2. Personalized Plan: Following the consultations, CareFirst healthcare professionals create personalized weight loss plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, preferences, and lifestyle.

Step 3. Prescription Medication: If suitable, our medical providers can prescribe weight loss medications such as semaglutide or Tirzepatide.

Step 4. Ongoing Support: CareFirst offers continuous support and follow-up consultations with healthcare professionals to monitor progress, address concerns, and adjust the weight loss plan as necessary.

Where is my Semaglutide made?

CareFirst works with state-licensed compounding pharmacies that produce compounded semaglutide. Compounding is regulated by the FDA and state boards of pharmacy. Licensed compounding pharmacies must adhere to both federal and state laws, which encompass administrative requirements and quality standards.

How much weight will I lose?

In clinical trials lasting 56 to 68 weeks, non-diabetic participants with obesity or overweight who used GLP-1 medications in conjunction with diet and exercise lost an average of up to 15% of their body weight. In contrast, those who followed only a diet and exercise plan achieved weight loss of 3.5% to 2.4%.
